PUMA Featured on Hardball Tonight: Watch and Drink Heavily

Lalita Amos | 08/14/2008 - 17:15

Will Bower, founder of PUMA (Party Unity My Ass), now operating under the cleaned-up moniker, "People United Means Action" will be a featured guest on tonight's "Hardball." Not heard of them? Well, they've been getting a serious hearing by the MSM:

Executive Director of Puma PAC, Darragh Murphy, interviewed by Alison King on NECN

Darragh Murphy interviewed on Fox News’ morning show, Fox and Friends

Just Say No Deal and Darragh Murphy interviewed by Kevin Merida of the Washington Post

Darragh Murphy interviewed by Sherri Tag on “No We Won’t” Blog Talk Radio

Darragh Murphy interviewed by national talk-radio star Curtis Sliwa on WABC Radio

ABC Television reporter Tom Abrahams, on Puma PAC

Asleep at the wheel in November of last year when the DNC laid out the rules to Florida and Michigan (not one of these good people seemed worried about their "disenfranchisement" then), they've now said, that they'd rather trot out that "yellow dog" and vote for him...that would be Senator McCain. They see no acceptable option other than Senator Clinton at the top of the ticket.

It was Will Bower who, when Harriet Christian, miffed that they didn't see the light at the Rules Committee meeting, cut loose with this

In the video with her is PUMA spokesman, good ole Will, who gleefully wound this lady up, urged her to go out in front of the camers and then posted about it on the Huffington Post. As taken from his Huffington Post article:

...In fact, I have a confession to make. It was I who encouraged Harriet to stay and to face the cameras. Each time she wanted to storm from the lobby in a fiery exeunt, it was I who stopped her, consoled her, turned her around, and told her "Your anger needs to be heard, friend. Don't stop."

Did I think that she could have been more coherent at first? Yes, I did. Did I feel that she was flirting with the edge of reason? Yes, I did. Would I have had her change a thing? No, I wouldn't.

I can't imagine any wholesome reason for aiding and abetting this shameful public tirade (kind of like Geraldine Ferraro on crank). And I have one hell of an imagination!

Be sure to watch and then swing back here to comment.

Ray Miller | 08/15/2008 - 13:16 |  Media Coverage of the Marginal Fringe - More Bread and Circuses

I suffered through the interview last night on Hardball. I feel that MSNBC gave more credibility to a fringe group than FOX News could have.
I would have been surprised if Chris Matthews would have let that "interview" or should I say, inane rant not worthy of 2 nanoseconds of air time go on as long as it did.

I think Hillary and Bill are really out to sabotage the Obama campaign. Bill has not endorsed Obama, has marginalized him with the media and the insistance that BOTH Clintons have features speeches in Denver is destructive. It is 1968 all over again!

Plus the Clinton's are showing themselves to be the self important power mongers they have always been. Hillary and Bill want Obama to lose. They want to say after the election that the party nominated the wrong candidate and they want to start Hillary's 2012 campaign November 5th.

Carville, Bill, Hillary, Wolfson,Penn have all held their ground that Obama is still the wrong candidate and the primary voters were idiots.

They can all kiss my ASS!!!!

IF they sabotage the convention and the fall campaign, as they seem to be committed to, I will re-register as an independent for the first time since I started voting.

If there are Democrats who will vote for John McCain simply to spite the DNC and Barack Obama, then they deserve what they get with McCain. American troops risking their lives in an unjust war, however, do not, and McCain has made it pretty clear he fully intends to continue to wage that war. If I was a disappointed HRC supporter, that alone would be enough to keep me from voting for McCain.

No. Nothing against Hillary, but Bill is a loose canon and would be a constant distraction and/or embarrassment.
