As many of you know, CNN will be launching its series "Black in America" on 23 July with its Black Women and Familes program. The second day will focus on Black men.
As you know, I've been out of pocket for a week or two, trying to catch up on my life and business before the final push towards the master's degree. Just so you don't think I've been slacking, here is my take on things that have been giving me heartburn over the last two weeks.

I heard this story this morning and felt a little "off" all day. It's part one of a story about sexual identity and how it manifests in transgendered children and what two sets of parents did in support of their very young sons--as young as 2 or 3.

The overwhelming media narrative this morning is that Obama is the presumptive nominee, BUT--here the commentator gets grave and concerned--it is by no means clear that the women who supported Clinton will vote for him in November.
